long weekend left a souvenir for me: 3 pounds. I kind of expected it, so I'm not feeling down. I had a good time and now it's time to face consequences. I'm back on mini-attack phase. I feel energetic and optimistic.
Breakfast: cold cuts, coffee with 1% milk.
Snack: 1 piece of WW string cheese
Lunch: jerk chicken breast, with skin
Water: 2 L
Holiday weekends are so tough! I went to a BBQ yesterday with a bunch of friends, and I pretty much was a party-pooper the whole evening -- sitting there with a long face because I couldn't enjoy the bread, mac-n-cheese, chips & dip, chocolate cake, etc.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it's better to partake a little, have a great time, and then deal with the resulting weight gain (probably mostly water retention) -- versus sticking 100% to the diet but not enjoying oneself. Your attitude is great, and I know those pounds will slide right off!
